I just read today's head-of-the-list dialogue on windshields and it added fuel to my interest in procuring one. But I'm hearing from you all that one mounted on the handlebars makes the steering cumbersome. Are there any particular models you can recommend that do the trick better? Are there fork-mounted screens for the Savage? Next, I'm making my own saddlebags (it's a hobby of mine, working in leather) and am wondering if I need to somehow come by the saddlebag supports or can I just drape them over the back fender under the buddy-seat? Pros & Cons on this would be appreciated. Lastly, I want to say thanks to those of you who work so hard to maintain this forum and for those of you who take the time to give good answers to what must sometimes seem to be ridiculously naive questions.
